PROV-ED videos to promote Choosing Wisely recommendations in emergency departments

The PROV-ED Project by Clinical Excellence Queensland has developed videos and digital slides to promote the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) recommendations in emergency departments.

The PROV-ED (PROmoting Value-based care in EDs) Project, a state-wide project by Clinical Excellence Queensland, disseminates value-based emergency department (ED) initiatives to public hospital clinicians using display monitors in clinical areas of EDs across Queensland.

In 2020, the PROV-ED team developed videos and slides with information on six Choosing Wisely recommendations from the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) and promoted this material using the PROV-ED display monitor infrastructure across the state. These digital resources are available for use in other emergency departments. If you would like a copy of these digital resources, email [email protected].
