Choosing Wisely Australia is part of a global social movement working to eliminate unnecessary healthcare. Led by Australia’s medical profession and facilitated by NPS MedicineWise, Choosing Wisely is promoting better conversations between health professionals and consumers about what tests, treatments and procedures are truly needed.
NPS MedicineWise is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified individuals to join the Choosing Wisely Australia Advisory Group for a fixed two-year term from April 2018.
The Advisory Group is the primary consultative group and advisory body for the initiative, actively guiding its direction from the perspectives of clinicians, consumers and the health sector more broadly.
EOIs are invited practicing clinicians, health consumers, health policy experts and program implementation experts. Members will be appointed on individual merit basis.
Applications close on Friday 9 February 2018.
