NPS MedicineWise CEO Adj A/Prof Steve Morris says he encourages people working in hospitals, general practice and other health services as well as policy makers and consumer advocates with a stake in consumers choosing their healthcare wisely to join us online for the meeting.

“We often talk about consumer-centred health care, but putting this into practice isn’t always easy,” said Mr Morris.

“The Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting will not only provide us with a global perspective on international efforts to reduce unnecessary care but a showcase of local initiatives and solutions to build patient-centred skills in our healthcare professionals, really embed shared decision-making, and integrate Choosing Wisely principles into our health system now and into the future,” he said.

Registration includes exclusive access to the recordings and to the online networking opportunities,” he said.
