How would you feel if your doctor said ‘it’s best to do nothing’?

"Receiving the right answers"

How would you feel if your doctor said it’s best to do nothing?

Julie McCrossin:

If you went to someone and they said, look it's best to do nothing. How do you feel about it if they say that?

Speaker:

I'm not fazed by that. I mean I think there is a bit of a trend of sometimes over prescribing at times. And, or the idea that somehow preventative measures might be the best course of action. Sometimes doing nothing could be the best course.

Speaker:

As long as they provide logical reasons for doing so, I'm completely comfortable with that.

Speaker:

And if I still got the problem, I'm not happy, of course. (laughter)
