The national conversation around evidence-based care and eliminating unnecessary healthcare is certainly taking hold across Australia and Choosing Wisely is increasingly being adopted to drive a culture shift around low-value care. Register now: 2018 National Meeting - 30 May

Registrations for the 2018 Choosing Wisely Australia National Meeting opened this week, with the opportunity to make abstract submissions also available. 

The National Meeting is an opportunity for key stakeholders and influencers to discuss, engage and network on topics related to reducing low-value care in Australia. Join us in Canberra next May to be part of the national conversation on unnecessary healthcare.

Gold Coast Health unveils pathology dashboard

The Gold Coast Health Choosing Wisely Pathology Project has launched an interactive dashboard that allows clinicians to review pathology ordering patterns so they can reduce waste on routine and repeat testing, while reducing inconvenience for patients.

Last month, the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) hosted its inaugural Choosing Wisely forum to celebrate its first 12 months as a Choosing Wisely Australia Champion Health Service.
